…there’s a new sheriff in town

hey guys.

Barack Obama, now elected president of america, is being held to his promises of sustainiblity by the U.S Green Building Council (the same guys that brought us LEED certifications).

o-BAM-a!

The USGBC has sent a report to Obama outlining a plan based on Obama’s platform and their own vision for sustainability. Obama has pledged to make all new federal buildings carbon neutral by 2025. all new buildings will have to be carbon neutral by 2030. these are just election promises, but USGBC has, in additon to calling for in creased fun ding for green industries, outlined these as well in their report. hopefully pressure from this group will keep obama honest.
