color matters

Another interesting lecture from Vaike on how the coordination of colors everywhere and anything is important.

As mentioned, every color has a different meaning or symbolism. Someone wearing red might represent strength. Blue represents trust, while purple means healing strength. The color gold, on the other hand, represents the highest attainer. We can see this from the Buddha statue, where it is commonly varnished with the color gold. Not only that, the royal family of England (or everywhere) in the olden days, decorated their rooms with mass amounts of gold ornaments. Obviously gold is the color everyone looks up to and respect.

Another great example on how important colors are is the product released by Pepsi several years ago – Pepsi Blue. Of all the colors in the spectrum, blue is an appetite suppressant. Of course, 2 years later this product was discontinued from the lack of public interest and sales.

Imagine eating a purple fish, or a green chicken, or black bread. One would definitely hold back before actually consuming them, and this shows how much color matters in our life.
